Thanks for the features request tamlin.
1) On the membership list, we have a 'members' link at the top of your forum, across the header. It's sortable by join date, is that what you're looking for?
2) We'll be giving admins the ability to set rights in your dashboard over the next few weeks.
3) Backup - We backup your forum daily. Soon will provide you more options for manual backup of your forum.
4) We have a collapse feature on replies. It's a little triangle that you can click just above the reply, which will collapse or expand it.
5) More designs and customization features are on their way.

No, I can't see my whole membership list, just about 25 members of 40+.
I expect my site to have over 100 members.
Would like to be able to see the whole list (without pictures) at once and sort it alphabetically.
From that list, as admin, I would like to be able to click any member's name and e-mail or message them privately; change their rank; e-mail them how to access a forgotten password, or whatever other features you make available.

We're also working on some of the other features you mentioned, so thanks for the feedback.
You can now add moderators and co-admins in your Forum Admin panel on the 'Forum Settings' tab.

Chief, I am not able see all of the members of my forum, only show one page, so far have 37 members.

that's a bug on the 'classic' theme, we'll have it fixed shortly.
Is there any progress on a sortable membership list? It would be useful to sort the list so that I can see who signed up most recently.
hey jbhaber, you can do that by clicking the 'Members' tab in your forum (not your admin panel), it has sorting options, like newest member.
I would like to type differently colored text. Maybe the feature is there and I haven't found it yet. All the same, colored text is an opportunity to give certain sayings more emphasis and that makes reading easier.
Something else I miss is larger and smaller type. Sometimes it's nice to make a bigger heading or smaller note to your text.
And I would like to be able to edit parts of a member's posting.

Chief, I know you and the team are doing a great job and we all thank you for it. I suppose when you're supporting over 30,000 forums and trying to read all the questions here it's difficult to find time to do any real work...

That said, can I ask if there is any progress in being able to sort the members alphabetically? We have 130+ and knowing who is Oldest or Newest is not that useful to some. An alphabetical sort would really help.

Hi chief I would ask if there is any solution that we can lock one theme only for moderators and admins.
I would like to lock this theme and set a password there which would know only admins and mods.
So the final question is how can I make a theme and lock it and if you want to enter in you have to have password.

thanks hal, we'll add more options around member sorting in the future, but i'm afraid we're tied up with a few other things at the moment, so it'll be some time away.
