Topic: Disallowing Signatures

maybe in the future, we're trying to keep options to a minimum so as to keep the admin panel simple and not overwhelming.

ok, but wouldn't, say, the Settings page just need a checkbox or somthing similar saying 'Allow signatures?'

my concern was that sometimes people can overuse signatures, which can make things messy and harder to read. but it depends on the people posting of course.

we limit sigs to 150 chars and no images to keep it clean, we try to encourage the use of the avatar as a place for images - it's easy to change frequently, and you can see a bigger version of it by rolling your mouse over somebody's avatar.
