I don't think that it can be done right now because I tried changing my username and I can't find out how to do it. I think that it's impossible at the moment.

yes, at the moment, you cannot change your email address. Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed (but you can always register for a new one.) We'll allow you to update your email address in the near future.

So I have to get a whole new user name??? Bummer! I've used this one for years on our forum, even as our forum has moved about. This makes me all huffy and irritable.

well, changing a password should be available in the future soon too.

i am admin for a forum i just started and i have now made a email address to go with the site, how do i change it that emails are sent to the one i have just made ?

Simply click 'Edit your profle' up in the top right corner of the page by your user name, there you can replace your email address with your new one and just press save profile at the bottom of the page.
The new email address will then be associated with your user account for all email contact.
