At the end of last week, we pushed out a major release, with lots of new changes that we're very excited about. We're constantly improving Lefora, bit by bit.
Thanks to all the feedback before and after, keep it coming. A number of you said Lefora felt too different compared to other forums, such as phpbb. So we've added a "Classic" theme which has the same look and feel as other popular forum packages (phpbb, vbulletin, etc.) As with everything on Lefora, it's a work in progress, we're constantly improving it. So we'll be adding more functionality to the classic theme over the next few weeks.
Brand NEW Themes - We've added two new themes that we're really proud of.
- Classic - Who doesn't love to go retro? Classic includes a 'flat' thread view.
- Juice - Much more aesthetically pleasing then our previous 'Simple' or 'Meanie' theme.

A new headlines page
We'll be tweaking and improving you headlines page. The new headlines page features more then just posts, such as new members who've joined and more 'media' posts
New Join & Login screen
A simpler interface for your members to create an account or login.
Improved Search
We added an updated search page that makes it easier to find what you're looking for. Tip: your search bar is currently located at the very top of your forum on the login bar. We'll move that into a more 'visible' area soon.
Email Notifications
Some notifications had been turned off. Now you'll get a notification if somebody sends you a private message or somebody replies to your post. You can manage your notifications by clicking 'Edit Profile' on the login bar at the top of every forum.
Invite System
Admins have been asking us how to get more members in their forums. We've created an Invite Your Friends screen that will allow you to enter the email address's of your friends and invite them to your new forum. In the future, we'll allow you to log directly into your gmail, hotmail, or yahoo accounts. Accessible by clicking "Send Invites" on your login bar at the top of every forum.
@Organizer and +Moderator
You may have noticed some users have an '@' or '+' symbol before their name. @ is for admins, + is for moderators, so members of your forum can quickly see if a poster is an admin or moderator.
Community Stats Widget:
All new forums have a stats widget on the side of the forum. It displays one admin, the number of posts, and the number of members. Existing forums can add this by clicking 'Forum Admin' -> Widgets
Blog Importer
Some of you were reporting problems importing blogs into you forum - we've fixed it now. So if you had issues in the past, please delete your RSS feeds from the admin panel and add them back in.
