Topic: Animated Images, Signature Images and Member deleting power

thanks for the feedback. Animated gifs should work in the forum when posted in a topic, do you have an example of them not working?

The way our avatars work, we have to convert them and resize them in different areas of the site, but it's something we can consider for the future.

As for the deleting of the posts, what sort of circumstances do members want to delete what they wrote? Is it because an error in the post, information has changed, etc.? We want to know, because it helps us decide how to build out features.

sorry to hijack the thread but can you take me through how to post a .gif in a thread. It seems to come up as a still picture.

Thanks for the reply Chief. Ok as for the editing and deleting well its just usually random things that I get requested to delete cause there was a mistake in the post. They would like editing post to for example: If a member post a list of boxing fights in a new topic he would like to go back to the same post and edit the fights or add more fights.

Now the GIF deal here I'm posting an animated gif it goes through but it wont move unless you click on it.

Oh another thing I thing, I meant html on the signature not the avatar but maybe you just call it avatar.

thanks for the feedback on editing posts, we'll keep that in mind with new features we build out.

aas for the signature, we don't allow html, if you want to include a link, we'll automatically hyperlink it for you.

thanks for the link to the animated gif, we'll look into why it's not appearing animated.

I miss a button to do changes in my posts.
I also miss a importunity to delete post I dont wont to have for some reason.

you have 3 minutes to edit your own post, then it's written in stone.

only the admin or moderator can delete a post.

signatures are limited to just text, we have support for animated gif's in the avatar (your picture) soon.

I´m sorry, but I can´t see any edit in our forum...
I can see it here, but not in the forum for our club...
What can be wrong about it?

you are correct, sorry about the confusion, we support different themes on lefora, and hadn't added support for 'edit' in the classic theme.

We'll have it in the future, in the meantime, if you would like the 'edit' feature, you can change your theme to something like 'Simple Theme' or 'Juice Theme' in the Forum Admin panel.
