What can I do if I want a general category (eg 'music') and then sub-categories (eg 'electronic' or 'reggae')?

categories have no hierarchy, which is a good thing, it prevents duplicate posts.
You can create
* Music - Electronic
* Music - Reggae
* Sports
* FAQ
* etc.

no sub-categories 'a good thing'?
it certainly makes things very unordered and messy. surely it should be upto the individual forums whether its 'a good thing' for them or not...
