Click 'Start a topic' then click the 'Start a Poll' link. (located at the top right of the new topic fields).
If you're an admin, you add a poll to the sidebar. Click 'Forum Admin', then 'Widgets' and drag the poll widget from the left to right. Click 'Edit' to select which poll to display on your sidebar (you must have at least one poll already created).

is there a way to see the poll results with out voting. I'm the admin and i was wondering where i can check that info. thanks

thanks omnicon, part of a choice we made was to require a vote before seeing the results (even for admins), this insures people vote without the bias of seeing the results.
