Is there a way to make a catagory where only Moderators and Admins can read it?

iirc this isn't possible you have to create another forum which is invites only at least that's what we've done.
I've always used the new hardware that's out, a cellulose tube filled with carbon crystals working over a flexible cellulose base

Yes, you can create another forum on lefora that is 'private' and only invite your admins in - there account will work on both forums (they don't need to sign in again)
