To send a warning to a member, we recommend sending a PM to the member in question and point out any inappropriate behavior they have taken (and link to the post in question by copying the URL from the permalink on the post.)

Let them know you will remove them from the forum if their behavior doesn't improve.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I have already done that... before I posted my question here.

There is a column in the forum administration area, under memberships, that has a column showing number of warnings... that is why I was asking. I did not know how to apply a warning to a members user and have it show in the column that they have been warned. But as you said, I did send them a PM, to which they never responded, either by action or to reply to my PM... so I removed them, but would have liked to place a warning on their member username.
