Is not the newest member... I have 4 new members since the person displayed joined...
I think she is stuck. She also shows online all the time. I'm not sure she is.

Sometimes we sort it by recently online, so it seems that your seeing her first because she is currently, or was recently online.
We'll be changing the admin panel soon, so hopefully that will clear up any confusion.
She never shows as ever going off line... and has never moved out of the newest member category. So none of 4 members that joined after she did... ever appeared in that spot...

It moved finally... my newest member has now replaced the one that was stuck....
Thank you...
Thanks for letting us know its fixed, I made a change to the code yesterday that should of cured that, I meant to post here then to let you know, but I was having crazy busy day and simply forgot.
As for the online person, I'm not really following what chief is saying! do you see this person always with the green online dot?
I understand crazy days... I appreciate the fix.
Yes. The light never goes off.
Is there anyway, Admins can be included when a member sends an email saying they forgot their password? or that we can have that information for our members?
Hmm its odd about the green light, there is a delay after going offline before it dissapears, but it would require quite frequent visits to make it stick; it is possible they have simply left their web browser window open on a computer, some browsers do reload the page automatically. Well, we'll keep an eye out for any more people reporting the same.
As for the passwords, becasue a single lefora user account can be used on many forums we can't really single out a particular admin to communicate that to.
Also we dont actually have the passwords, they are encrypted so even we don't know what a users passwrod is, so we can only give them a special link so they can choose a new one.
Is one of your members having problems with our automatic password reset system?
On password resetting - we've made it a simple process, so that admins don't have to deal with it, the user just clicks 'Forgot My Password'. HOWEVER, many people, espically those using Yahoo.com mail have mentioned this password reset emails goes into their spam folder. If any members are not receiving the email, have them look in their spam folder for an email from lefora.
The email should come from: "Password Reset <no-reply@leforamail.com>"
and have a subject of: "New lefora.com Password"
Thank you. He was able to reset it, but he sent me an email to yahoo account advising me that he forgot and asking how long it would take for a response to his email so he could re-set it.
I did tell him I didn't have access to password information, but his question made me curious.
Hate to bring this up again... but this member still shows online... all of the time. I really think she is stuck... Help if she isn't... is there anyway you can log her off... and she'll have to log back in?

What is the username of the member?
Where exactly do you see her? Is it on a sidebar widget, in the admin panel, or on the members page of your forum?
i just submitted to join your private forum, if you're okay with letting me, i'd like to check out a few things.
I'm going to open the door now....
The green lights may be slightly delayed and are not always in real-time, they could be 15min off.
As for ksfordham, there is no way for us to just log her off. It's possible that either she has a webbrowser open some where or that her browser somehow makes her look like she's currently online even though she's not. We'll look into it some more, in the meantime, you could try asking her to log out of lefora (logout link is at the top right of the forum)
Thanks Chief... I did ask her to logoff a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure she did...but her light never went off....
Chief, she is definitely stuck and not logged in. She doesn't even appear in either of the chatboxes on the sidebar....
Her username is ksfordham. She is stuck in the recently online box, which is the first sidebar widget displaying in the forum. Thanks Chief.-matrixone05
hi matrixone05, at the moment, we can't do anything about this as it seems she has a web browser somewhere that has her logged in, sorry about this - nothing we can do on our side.
If anybody else is experiencing a similar issue on their forum, please post below so that it can help us look into it more.
As a last try matrixone05, maybe you could remove her from the forum, and then ask her to rejoin a few hours later.
