Would like to see original post at the top on subsequent pages

Right now when you go to subsequent pages of a post, you don't see the original post at the top, so if you read a reply and then want to refer back to the original post (maybe to see how the question was originally worded or something), you have to click back to the first page, then go back to the last page with replies. It would be great if the original post were at the top of the page, no matter which page of replies you're looking at.
Hmmm... I have never seen that on a Forum before but it sounds like a nifty feature. The only thing similar I have seen is, One Forum I am a member of has a reply to OP that displays that post while you are entering a reply. It is not the same as quote. However what you suggest could cause problems with a ongoing dialog type of thread in terms of continuity.
I might suggest a simple workaround for you. Open a additional tab or window of the Thread in your Browser with one on the first page and the second being on the last page. I quite frequently use multiple tabs of my Forum to go back and forth for searching and Link posting.

Our group came from MSN Groups, and that is one of the features they had there. Very nice feature, and it's a little weird coming here and not having that.
Ahh, that is why I have not seen this feature. I have never been to anything on MSN before. 
Hey, this feature is very very useful, I saw it in forums that have support to post articles.... for example, if I post an article, I will want to people see it in the top, even if you change the page, to all talk about this specific topic... it is really interesting, and make possible to people dont escape the main subject in the topic, it is also useful/handy, if you [the one posted it firstly] have or need to keep the main post updated...
My propose is to the staff make it available as an option when you create a *new topic* and want to make the main topic updated to *all* people see it... It can be called "stick the topic" or "stick the post" or "stick as article"[in the case if people want to post articles to all people in the forum read it]. Well, I dont know the right name for it, but I saw in many places that it have the word "stick" in the name of this feature...

msn groups currently has a set up where the original post stays on the top of each page of the thread.
I have been with MSN for over 9 yrs now. Sad that they are closing the groups.I do however like it here.
It would be fantastic if we could have the main post stay at the top and subsequent replies follow. Makes the boards very neat. Also easy to use for older members who are not used to this type of board. But I sure do like here.
