New Posting Editor arrives January 15th

...and the new post editor is live 

Remember this is just a version 1 release, it's more about making sure what is there works, rather than what currently isn't there. It's a much cleaner set up for us to work with, so we'll be able to continue to develop and improve it and add more features.

I like it when I post from my pc, however, I can no longer post from my phone.  I use Opera mobile browser though a smart phone.  I used to be able to post from it, but now I can't.  Can this be fixed?

Yeah, we'll make it scale back to work on mobile browsers soon. Just as thats not even 0.1% of posts it wasn't a priority and we wanted to get this in your hands sooner rather than later.

When do plan on doing this?  It may be .1% of total posts, but it's a large portion of my personal posts and others members of my forum also mainly log in from their phone.

Just want to make sure this current editor is stable before making the extra modification, so I'd say it will happen at the weekend or early next week.

If we get no problems coming up today I might be able to squeeze it in tomorrow, but no promises on that. Sorry about the wait, just changing to many things at the same time results in chaos for us if there is an error.

I see it is up now, good job Cookies! It looks and acts 200% better. Because of the great work, I will never again complain about anything (Offer good for 24hrs unless revoked)

Oh just had a thought for mobile users, wont work on a private forum, but on a public forum a simple work around will be to log out, this will get you a plain text box.

Far from ideal, but will help you keep the conversation flowing in the transition period.

I thought you could resize an image in the new editor by grabbing a corner of it. Is that something yet to come?
