New Posting Editor arrives January 15th

I think apart from posting youtubes by just posting the url everything else is now working so I guess we can live with that....thanks for any help.

Now it works here and on my forum...thank you....I don't know what you did..if anything..but it seems to work now..........Thank you again..........

A similar thing is happening when I post bullet points But see here it now worked the other way around, and the text it normal again.Another issue is that single line breaks between paragraphs are being removed upon clicking submit. If I go in and add a line space, sometimes it formats ok upon submitting, other times not.

I've noticed the same thing, and it's creating some havoc for my users (many of whom are posting essays for practice, where clear paragraph breaks are really important). It's still happening as of today (now), so I hope that it can get fixed up sooner or later.
Other than that, I really like the new application!

How can I access the new editor?

After spending time for a few hrs reading this support forum, now I can add vdo, song, calendar and clock at the sidebar to my forum...( Add a widget)     And change BG, title text at CSS...I love it! Anyway I gotta learn more from u guys :)

Hey... you guys are doing an incredible job here... i can't believe how fast you guys are fixing any little problems.All my members avatars are back and only a couple of members had to redo their Signature.
But now I am having a NEW problem... I don't know if this was addressed somewhere else or not ( I couldn't find it) but, when I put a SPACE between two paragraphs... it takes it away when I edit that post.
And I still don't have a Spell-Checker.
BTW... I'm Using Google Chrome, if that matters. (love it, don't want to have to go back)
Other than that... you guys ROCK!!!

I miss the HTML feature. Sometime I need to delete some of the stuff in the HTML, to make the text appeear right, when copied from another source.
I used to be able to do that, but not anymore.

Hey Chief, I have a question with this new editors.. I just realized that smiley which I used to use with old editors are gone now.. so does it mean, the pictures and videos which I uploaded with old editor will be gone as well?  Should I re-upload all pictures and videos with this new editor?

Have come across another little issue with the new editor. If a member makes a plain text post they can edit it without a problem.
If however they embed an image then they cannot edit it. The can open the editor and see all the text but cannot delete or change the text they can only add new text to the bottom.
Please, can we also have an embarrassed smiley in the emoticons and is it possible to add a STRIKE OUT to the formatting tools?

EDIT - Also the FONTs thing is a bit erratic. The first time I posted this I highlighted ALL the text and chose

Comic Sans. All the text in the editor changed but when I posted only the first line was changed to that font.

OH DEAR! Me again.

I'm writing some FAQs for our members and have discovered that I can only ADMIN EDIT - TWICE. Like the problem above on the third time attempting to edit I can add new but cannot change any existing text. I guess the problems are somehow related or there is a set limit for the number of times an admin can edit a post.

I just tried this and there is a few curious issues. I can edit previous text but first I have to place the cursor and hit the space bar. After that, text edits fine. Also when going to submit the changes nothing happens if you have not added anything. I also notice that images loaded to Lefora's server do not always display in a previous post, though after making a edit they will.

Everything was fine with the update until last night. When uploading a picture it would load and stop at 99%.
Eventually, (many minutes later) it would hit 100%. The image would load but 5 minutes later it would be gone. Now there are no smilies. The pop-down spot with them in it is too tiny, all I can see is a fraction of the red X on the far right. Can't insert images either. Page load times are fluctuating between fast and not so fast.

We are having a similar problem to Desertdebbe I think, we can post pics, they appear after posting but when you refresh or go back to the thread the pic has disappeared, members are getting frustrated, I've asked them to bear with us so please help!

Hey everybody, I can confirm there is a problem with the image server; Basically it's not serving.

Anyway all uploaded images should still be there, no data is lost, its just it currently wont let people view them.

Please bare with us, it's the weekend, so getting the hold of the required people to fix this isn't so straight forward as we use an external network for hosting these images. We're on it, and let me state again nothing should be lost, once its fixed any uploaded content should just pop back into your forums.
