HELP - I can't post pictures or other media

I tried to post this..pic...some codes work now and some don't...

Four 18KB files.
But only the first one reached 100% The other three failed. Seems like the physical pixel size is the problem

Is this a bug or are there new guidelines to resolution and or file size limits?

Four smaller resolution files:

122 x 206 3.5KB

im-village, is it possible the pics are too big? right now, we're limiting file sizes to around 1.8mb.  can you try uploading some small text files?


blu, you can upload mp3s by clicking 'upload files', but again, they are limited to 1.8mb.  you may want to check out www.imeem.com for storing music and you can embed a mustic player in your forum from them.

it will not let me upload video's on my forum.

Embed from flickr is also giving "Invalid Image URL" when posting either the EMBED link.

Using Firefox browser.

Some of the members are having problems uploading pictures since the update of the server, it is only going to 99% upload and nothing is happening.  Is there any chance this can be sorted out please

I am using Google Chrome but I also have Internet Explorer. I have not tried the url links yet. My problem is my members can not upload pictures from their own disks now, because that option is no longer available.

Also, I miss the html option...

Anyway, how do we upload pics from our own pcs now?

Use the 'Upload Files' button underneath the editor....
  
 

thats strange cause my upload button has also suddenly dissapeared this evening an i am having difficulties

twiggy2008, you can upload videos for free to youtube.com then 'embed' them in your forum when posting by clicking the 'embed flash' button.
and if anybody else is having a problem, please follow the directions at the top of this thread (stating what to post), so we can investigate.  if that information is not included, there's no way for us to fix whatever issue you're having)

Please include:
 * your webbrowser product name & version number
 * what you're trying to embed (pic, video, etc.) & if you're uploading or embedding from another site
 * what you expect to happen but doesn't

If you keep your posts short and include just that information, we'll be able to help you.

This might help: The UPLOAD FILES button is a FLASH applet. Flash version 10,0,12,36 is the latest.
Check you do not have FLASH Blocked or Disabled.

I  have just recently set up a forum on Lefora and I am having difficulties posting pictures. We have 2 computes linked by a wired local network, both are running XP with identical versions and setups (as far as I can see) for both windows and internet explorer. I can upload pictures on 1 PC but the other throws up a message in the status bar "Error on page ". Messages can be posted from both computers.
Any suggestions on where to start in solving the problem?
