Mis-filed Messages
There seems to be a problem with some of the messages Lefora migrated from MSN Groups. It seems to me that all the messages were copied, but if the first message of a thread has been deleted then the rest of that thread doesn't show up. Look at the Where art thou daw, Bruce? thread on MSN and then search for "Where art thou daw, Bruce?" on the Lefora Blowgun Forum. The search finds all the messages but, evidently, since the first message is not there it has no thread to show them in and hence they can't be displayed.
Same thing for Steady Shooting and shot a 204, anyone tried this? etc.
It seems to be a problem with MSN's servers for our crawler. If the first thread of a topic is deleted, MSN is telling our servers the whole thing has been deleted (which is true sometimes). So I'm afraid there's no way to fix that. I don't believe it's been a frequent occurrence on other groups - because usually if the parent post is deleted the topic wasn't needed.
You could 'copy and paste' the entire thread into one post on lefora, so that it's preserved and searchable. With MSN shutting down next week, there's really no time for us to try to build a work-around.
