Javascript is a little unsafe, thus lefora sticks to flash. if you have anything youd like to post, like widgets and the sort. just find flash versions.

what I'm primarily concerned with posting was a banner to download a webbrowser toolbar that integrated my forum feed into their web broswer as well as allowed me to message users of my forum through the toolbar and all the banners from the site were done in java

what I was thinking is maybe just setting up a link to a php file that loads the banner would this possibly work?

if you want to link to an external website with javascript and toolbars, you're fine to do that, you can add a link to your sidebar, maybe like 'Download the Forum Toolbar here'
