Is there a way to stop the search engines from indexing/crawling the forum?

That's a premium feature we might add in the future, is it critical for your forum at this point?  If so, email me at 'chief -at- lefora.com' and I'll see what we can do.

how can I have search engines indexing/crawling my forum? as it's one where you are supposed to ask questions and find some answers.

hey ngogketrao1, that automatically happens on your forum, we tell google to index it, you just need to wait 2 weeks for it to show up.

I hope this is the right spot for this. I did a search and every time I found something by search which applied it was closed to posts. I have changed the keywords in my forum   (hopefully for the better). Is the keyword listing in adm panel open all the time to the engines or would it be good to prompt them again for the new keywords? Re:   http://hamchatforum.lefora.com

hey w8ee0, if a post is closed, you're free to start a new topic.  We try to keep all the dialog within a topic 'on-topic' (so i'll be locking this old post too).

Editing your keywords doesn't do as much for you as having an active forum with good content and well named categories (as the keywords in your categories will be applied to the topics within that category.)

if you have any more questions on this, please start a new topic with a relevant subject.
