tables support

Sorry, but do to the auto-detection features we have on the posting editor, we cannot support tables.
However, there are other options for you:
1) You can use the fixed with Courier New font to type in text and use spaces (not tabs) to create columns. This will display a table layout.
2) You can take a screenshot of a table and embed it as an image. A great screenshot tool is www.sketch.com (i use it daily)
3) You can 'embed' a flash widget from another site that has an Excel Spreadsheet (a table and more), something like www.docstoc.com
I understand these may not be the best solutions, but supporting html tables in the posting editor would cause problems with our other features that are used all the time, like auto-detection of youtube videos and image links.
