How about a MAILTO: link in the hyperlink field when making a post? And where's the underline button??

I wanted to put my email address into a clickable link that launches their default mail client (i.e. mailto:myemail@domain.com )

I even tried FILE:///C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.exe and I got an invalid url popup.

And I still need to upload my own images directly from my computer without having to post them elsewhere then link to them.

Hey, there's that FILE:/// I could have used just for this purpose....

And maybe you could post an ABUSE/ALERT button at the top of the page so that the forum admins/mods get immediate notification of a problem via their email?

Do I have to sent you guys some beer and pizza to get things mooooving along? LOL

And still no email notifications telling me of posts and new members.

as you can see in the above example, you just need to type an email address and we automatically link it for you.

I'm not sure what you're doing with FILE:/// but you shouldn't be using syntax like that on the web for linking, it will always break (on lefora and off of lefora)

we'll keep the abuse/alert button in mind - but we think we have a solution that solves that problem without requiring you to get an email. If 3 members in your community thumb-down a post, it's auto collapsed out of view, and you as the admin (or a mod) can decided to delete it or return it to view.

email notifications are on the way.

You could always do this on the sidebar in an HTML box.  It would always stay visable to the viewer as they read the board.
