I accidently hit thumbs down twice..
ORRRR is there a way to disable the Thumbs rating thing altogether, I dont want it at all!
.post_score, .post_vote_control {display:none;}
This is the css to remove the thumbs....
I also clicked the thumb up for you
you can paste that line of CSS code into your CSS editor on your admin panel.
Forum Admin -> Appearances -> CSS

What is that thumbs up and down for any way?
if you like a post, thumb it up, if you don't, thumb it down. if it get's a -3 vote, it's collapsed out of view by default.
Is there any way to have the thumbs up/down without making it collapse a post? Or possibly change the number of thumbs down it takes to collapse a post? I really like the feature, however so many people on our forum seem to abuse it.
admin can not change it, but we'll take into account how to add ways to allow the admin to not allow abuse (when we add more to this in the future).
glad i read this post, as n i did not know posts would go, now the thumbs have gone that can not happen thanks coloneljack
Is it possible to display the "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" count in the topic listing instead of deleting a post with many thumbs down? That will be more helpful as everyone can see which are the popular posts. :)
we have plans to do more around the thumbs up/down in the future, and your suggestion is a good one, thanks.
http://stackoverflow.com/ is a great example of how it works.
