Restrict Viewing of a Catagory

Is there a way that I have have two different levels of membership and in order to view a certain catorigory, the user must be promoted to a different level of membership? So that the catagory cannot be viewed by lower level members. I don't want to make everyone an admin but I want to be able to restrict viewing of certain catagories.
