New pm's

all messages are automatically saved, whether you read them or not.  To keep it simple, we have just one 'inbox', no other folders or boxes.  You have the choice of deleting messages and you can bulk delete too.

Reading a REPLY Message does not make it READ, you have to select it in the list and MARK it as READ.

Oops slight oversight, it was only marking them read if you viewed from the same forum the message originated from.

Fixed that now, viewing should now always mark it as read regardless.

Hi.  Is there a way to block private messages from another poster?  I have declined this said poster from joining our forum, she however is on another site and keeps sending PM's.  Is there any way to prevent them from coming through?  Thank you. 

she should not be able to send messages to you if you've blocked her from your site (unless both of you are members together on another forum - such as this support forum)

I wrote a Greasemonkey script for use with FireFox browser to do this. See this support forum topic.

You can install FireFox as well, in fact you can install as many browsers as you like, there's no rules that says you can't (Assuming you have the disk space). You can run both at once too if you like.

Have you installed the pop up script Checkmail2c or 3c from my site? and if so have you changed the Includes and Excludes to reflect your site, these scripts were written for my lefora forum. It's easy to change them with the Greasmonkey - Manage User Scripts option.

my labtop is on the verge of crashing...lol any other alternatives?
