Closing a POLL
Is there possibility to CLOSE or STOP a POLL from being voted on? I know it's not there now but maybe in the future?
I have a competition running and I want to close the POLL to voters and leave the results visible for people to see for a while. Locking it just stops posting but not voting. I think this would be a good feature.
btw, just discovered the POLL Widget and used it, it has boosted voting as it can be seen all the time the competition is running.

I haven't tried it yet - but it looks like you can just choose the 'Lock Topic' item under 'Admin Actions' for the poll thread to prevent any more replies.

I shall watch this thread for the answer - as I'll need to be able to close a poll soon too!
there is no close option. If you want more advanced poll options, there's a free poll widget by polldaddy.com that has tons of options and you can just embed it into your forum's sidebar.
