Can you tell me why members names in topics, posts, whose on line and the members lists (both site and admin), always appear with the first character in lowercase but in the Community Info the Founder and the newest member it appears as an uppercase character?

It would be nice to respect what a member signs up with.

Could the system be changed so that an uppercase first character is respected throughout the site?

Many thanks.

You could use the css text-transform property....

Possible values are :

  • None - Default.
  • Capitalize - Each word in a text starts with a capital letter.
  • Uppercase - Only capital letters
  • Lowercase - Only lowercase letters.

I could by why should I? If it can be done in one widget it should be possible to be done forum wide. I can't see any reason why the uppercase is dropped in the first place.

Yeah but that's the pm System not the forum posts or the widgets. If I click on Chief's name in community info that works so why can't posts be displayed that way too? and Recently on line and recent posts and anywhere else that's not a pm???

should be all lowercase, we'll change it at some point.
