I wanna know how many messages I have
the subject pretty much says it all. the biggest complaint is some members see the new system as a little confusing, thats not me, but some people are. my thing is i feel like the message system isnt keeping messages. like the very bottom of my inbox is a message from 3 days ago, and i havent deleted anything since after the update. and all my old messages are gone, some that were really important. can i get those back?
For message count in the user bar, we had to temporarily remove it for speed optimization (each page can load faster if it doesn't have to count how many PM's you have each time). We'll be able to cache this information and return the feature in the future.
Messages are not automatically deleted, they are always saved. There's a chance that after the upgrade, we had a bug on your mailbox, we can fix this and return any messages that are missing, we'll look into it.
this is related to page controls (going back in history), they'll be back on the page soon.
