Can't tell who my members are!
Hello,
Maybe I'm just an idiot and just not seeing it. But, on the list of forum members on my forum all it shows is their nickname or handle. There is no other information present (IE- email address).
How can I find out who my members are?! All I really need to see is the email address they signed up with.
Any help would be appreciated,
Matt
i.e.
Lefora doesnt share User's emails. If you would like to send a blast email to your whole forum:
>Admin Panel
>>Members
>>> group email.
I cant think of another reason you would need everyones emails.
You're lucky. I KNOW who MY members are and that is scarier than not knowing. lmao
With the current e-mail system off line, group e-mails do not go out, so I posted a request for my 200+ members to e-mail me with their e-mail and username if they felt happy to do so. I got a 90% response and so now have almost all e-mails for all members.
Private forums (ones that require admins to OK a member joining), do get to see the e-mail address and therefore all new members e-mail addresses are added to the list.
Sending my own external e-mail has been a complete success and allows me to format the message nicely, the blast message is a bit basic and admins have no formatting facilities.
So, ask your members nicely and give them a good reason for you having their e-mail addresses and you'll be pleasantly rewarded.
LMAO I do have a rather soft spot for you off the wall mongrels, yes. lol
I would love to have this ability as well. I have a private forum and my members seem to think I have their email addresses anyway...
But on a similar note... with the new PM setup... which for the most part is great...
I just realized that I can no longer tell "who" I sent a message to in the SENT message archive. Can you PLEASE restore that capability?
Thank you.
