NEW Indicator missing

I can help with this... somewhat.

The problem arises when you read part of a multi-page topic that has no new replies. If I switch to the first page, but leave the topic without reading the rest of the pages, then all those posts left unread will be flagged as 'new' replies (even though I've read them before) - and they won't show as new on the category page.

Thanks CJO I realise that but in the CSS Category separator of Hack is shows (for me) no NEW indicators but opening the Laser Jals category it shows the top one as 6 New for the Centered text on title banner topic. Now I have never read that topic in that category, as far as I know. Not to worry, It's probably me

Some more info on this. Just now I had no new indicators on my forum for any new topics and in some categories they all showed 0 New. I then made a post in one of the categories and afterwards, 11 New indicators appeared in the Forum view and several more appeared in categories which had previously shown 0 New, some on topics that I had not read before.

So it appears that the "log" of read topics (assuming that's how it's done) is not being updated correctly.

[EDIT] Same thing just happened here. Since this post, 4 topics have turned BLUE in the Forum Topics View that are over an hour old.
