Deleting a forum/user completely...

Do you want to delete a FORUM or a MEMBER/USER ?

You cannot delete a FORUM unless it has NO members. I'm assuming this is why you want to delete the MEMBER. To remove a member you go to FORUM ADMIN >> MEMBERS and click REMOVE.

If the only member is YOU then you can DELETE/ABANDON the forum by going to FORUM ADMIN >> SETTINGS >> SETUP and entering YOUR login password click DELETE/ABANDON button, whichever appears.

If this is what you have tried, then tell us the sequence that gave you the error message, perhaps with a screen shot of the members list etc.

I have deleted my forums the way, that you describe.
When I log in, then they appear as forums, where I am the admin.

I have tried to delete my user @ lefora by clicking "edit profile" and close account. It is there, that the picture of a rainbow appears with an error message.

I suggest then that you clear your browser cache and cookies as they seem to be giving you the wrong information. The rainbow at user login usually means that the user has been deleted or the forum does not exist though usually you get a Lefora "This forum does not exist" message.

However all you have done in Close account, is to close the user access to the forum you were an admin of and if you have deleted the forum there is nothing to log into. You still have an active Lefora account for Support.

Your profile still shows you as Admin for four forums but each no longer exists so trying to log into them will fail.

It is not, when I log into a profile, that I see the rainbow. It is when I click "edit profile" and close account. It is there, that the picture of a rainbow appears with an error message.
