As UK clocks have just advanced by an hour, posts are now appearing at 1 hour behind real time. Is there a way to correct it?

Time in the UK is now 11:46am

Just in case anyone else is NOT seeing this problem, here's how it appears to me.

might it be the time on your personal computer?  I know the clocks changed in Europe over the weekend, you may need to update your computer's clock.

No, you're missing the point. The clocks changed and so did the computer so now my computer clock, like real time is ONE HOUR AHEAD of the POST TIME.
Time in the UK is now 09:11 am
[EDIT] See the post time says 08:11

One member in the USA says her time is out too. Lots of people are seeing this on my forum. The Server time needs putting forward for our posts. PLEASE!

And it's showing correctly on your post.

the time displayed on the post takes into account your computers clocked offset by GMT time, every user show's a different time, for instance, coloneljack's show's he posted at 1:13am (it's now 1:21am PST, it shows in my local time, not his.

I have a feeling the timezone setting on your computer is not set correctly.  After this weekend, your clocked should have adjusted itself due to daylight savings.  Are you sure your computer's clock is set to not only the right 'time' but the right 'time zone'?

Well it's not here. Your posts show 08:12 and 08:13 but the real time is 09:24 - just after you posted them. and see this post is time at 08:25

I have the same problem on my forum. My computer clock is set in the right time zone and is giving the correct time, but at my forum it's one hour earlier. One of my members says that at his work computer there's no problem with the forum time, but at his home computer it's one hour of. So on some computers it seems to be working and on others not. I haven't figured out why yet. Any idea?

Well I'm glad it's not just me. :) I thought forums were set so that the time posted reflected the local time of the poster but it seems to be set to GMT so posters from foreign lands must see times that are way off. One of our USA posters to our UK forum sees posts 5 hours out of real time.

if you're having timezone problems, could you post the following response here:

1. What time you see for THIS post (I posted it at 10:50am PST)
2. What time your computer clock says right now.
3. What timezone your computer's clock is set to (VERY IMPORTANT)
4. What city/country you live in.

I have a feeling it's incorrect timezone's and daylight savings time issues on people's local machines as it's only affected a few people and there was just a daylight savings time change in europe this weekend.

1. See picture attached.
2. 19:52
3. GMT with Daylight savings set - See second picture
4. Oxford UK.

seems that your cookie may be cached with an old time setting.  If you log out, then log back into your forum, it should fix it.

this should apply to anybody who is having this issue.  sorry for not realizing that sooner.

OK, Now that's MEGA WEIRD. I posted above and there was a difference, I logged out and then back in and the difference was gone. I was sure I had done it, perhaps I have to log out of all forums for it to be effective?

[EDIT] Thanks Chief, sorry for all the fuss. Simple things often baffle me. :(
