If you're using Firefox, the JustSmile add-on is the one you're looking for. :D ;)

Yeah!  We want more goodies like those smilies.
Personally, I want a hung of cheesecake and a great cup of coffee more than I want smilies.  Is that wrong?  lol

Whilst we are at it, could be put in a request for font sizing, colours, and special remote controls that control men's behaviors?  lmao

Don't want much do you ? ;)

More smileys are on the cards.

Font size and colour is not. As the text editor box is common to all fora (30,000 and growing), the ability to change font size and especially colour, has been restricted because it may cause readability difficulty on some fora which use different colour schemes.

Having said that, the DEFAULT FONT option is used to return to the font set in your browser. Change this to something different and you have an option to change font style and size.

As for the remote control??? Well Just saying "Not now, I have a headache" usually works :)

Damnation!  I was told that what a woman wants, a woman gets.  Buggars lied to me. lol
That headache thing never works.  Someone always shows up with a bottle of Advil and tells me there is no excuse.  lol

I agree with the above - gives us the emoticons.

Prefably give members the option to add their own emoticons (which would be really great). failing this can't you at least just expand the number of emoticons you have on offer.

grinsmile ... heart (11 in total too few)

The MSN-groups had 44 eg:

I happend to think smaller emoticons are better too, as you can use them as punctuation  or give emphasis to a sentense . Also emoticons like bulbs, hearts, stars, cake, lightning bolts, clocks, beer all have uses - better than just faced-based emoticions only.

I have an old  MSN-group  of 600 members ready to move here but without emoticons there is just no "flavour"!!

Hope you can help ~ surely a few more emoticons preferably based on the old MSN ones is not a technical challenge. !!!!!

Finally, what about having a table option?

thanks

I agree with the request for more smilies and look forward to seeing them. I think we need smilies that convey confusion, irritation, anger and embarrassment. Typical feelings in Internet discussions. Personally, because of the nature of my own board, one of those smiling guys with a guitar would be extremely, extremely, extremely cool and appreciated!

grin

Yes, I have JustSmile installed. The problem is that I have a grey background in the posts on my forum and there are some white pixels around the JustSmile smileys so they do not look very nice. And besides, I want my members to not have to use Firefox and install JustSmile to be able to convey more feelings through the use of smilies. But more smilies are coming and I hope they are in style with the current ones, because they are really nice.

If you open the link  below in another page, you can find the smiley you are looking for...

Just right click and drag into your post. This site had the largest selection that was easy to navigate. http://www.animated-gifs.eu/

Locate gif's in almost any category by clicking on the various options at the top of the webpage. I've also posted them here...

While this does seem to be "resolved", is there any way to add an option for each forum to also upload its own local smilies? I've seen this happen on a lot of forums and i think it would make groups happier on the whole to have a bit of freedom with what smilies their members are allowed to post.
I'm only talking, being able to add ten or twenty small custom emotes for my personal forum?

Thanks.
