I would love to make Category pages longer
As of now, each page of each category holds 20 threads. It would be swell if we could customize this. I say this for couple reasons; I feel that in my forum this will generate a lot more posting because it seems that sometimes good threads get forgotten or lost in the crowd because, fact it, most of the time peope dont want to travel to the second page. The second reason would be because where it stands now, my sidear on my forum is significantly longer than the pages and I would like to make it a bit more uniform. This is just a suggestion of course. Any thoughts?

I certainly think the Classic theme could get away with having more topics on a page. I'm not sure Juice or Simple would get away with it due to the height of the individual topics.
Another thought, and I'm not sure it's possible, but the number of topics on a page could be decided by the amount of activity on a forum - the busier a forum, the more topics are displayed.
Either that, or have a check-box in the admin panel for short, medium, or long pages. As someone once said - "I'm just spitballin' here"

thanks for the feedback, the current setting is a decent balance around server resources, we might have more options around this in the future.
Oh, I see. ok. I didnt consider server stuff. ill keep an eye out for feature like that
