Categories / Group Seperators all screwy

Seems there was a glitch in the Cache, so the forum view was/is lagging. It is fixed and should work its way out in an hour or so. What the admin page shows is the correct real data.

I'm having some of the same problems with categories (I think). No matter how many times I drag a category to its group, as soon as I load any other page, it's back to the way it was before. Currently, every one of my categories are in one group, and the other group is empty. I simply can't get them to change groups. The "All changes take effect immediately"  isn't working, it seems.

hi bounder, i just requested access to your forum to see if i can get a better idea of what the categories look like and if there is some other problem.  If you feel comfortable granting me temporary access, then please post here after granting approval. Otherwise, could you post a screenshot of your category screen here so we can learn more and fix it.

I have created a new forum (3rd). However it will not let me create new categories.

Interestingly, when I look at my Admin home page it shows the number I expect, but they are not visible on the forum.

I have just rechecked, and all the attempts to add are recorded....the delay has been at least 30 minutes

do you have categories that are visible on the Admin Panel's category page, but not within the forum?  If so, what are the categories so we can investigate.
