Any news on when the RSS feed byline will start to point to the original site and to the full blog ?

still on our list of items to be fixed (byline that is).  the other item you mentioned, summaries vs. full posts - that's depends on the incoming feed, nothing we at lefora can change, that's a setting on the feed.

What I mean is I hope the byline link goes directly to the original post or blog containing the full contents rather than just pointing to the home page.

Would be better that way, I think.  Members can just click the byline if they want to read the original full contents from the original site if they find the feeds interesting enough to read the whole thing.

Just want to suggest another thing. 

Whether or not the byline points to just the home page of the original site or points to the original full content (preferably) I think it would be beneficial to all admins of lefora that when a member does click the byline that they are not taken out of the lefora forum and a new tab just appears.
