post text colours

at the moment my members can only post in black and select the font/bold underline etc ,is there a code that will add a choice of colours as an additional option

You can type your response in a word document using the rich text editor.

Then copy and paste it into the post.

There are no COLOUR features in the text editor as the different themes used throughout the forums may clash, so the default is B&W. You can do as hrh918 suggests and this works quite well but you may find other formatting has unexpected results.

ok tried that ,it pastes onto the reply box in colour but when posted turns black

It seems this has been disabled. I have tried all manner of ways to get colour into a post without success. Sorry.

On a related note, unless I'm missing soemthing, i can't change the size of the text within a post.

The only way to do this is copy & paste from WORD or an RTF Editor.
