We would like everybody to know what we'll be up to here at Lefora for the next 2-3 months. Our product development plan takes a number of items into consideration: feature requests from the community, features we'd like to see, methods to promote your forums, and anything that may be critical to running a forum. But note, as different priorities may come into play, some items may get bumped to a future date.
Upcoming Feature List: (in no particular order)
- COMPLETED: Added 'Share This' widget on topics so your members can share links with their friends and on social networks.
- COMPLETED: A new 'Upgrades' page in your admin panel for direct access to our premium services, such as ad removal and single sign-on.
- COMPLETED: Importing thousands of takeforum.com forums
- WORKING ON: Facebook Connect Integration (to make it easy for your members to help promote your forum)
- An email validation process to ensure members of your forum have valid email addresses
- New Email Campaigns & Reminders for members of your forum to draw them back in each week
- A Roles & ranking system
- An API to download and backup the data in your forum
- More SEO improvements to drive more traffic to your forum from searches
- A reusable 'Guidelines' document that you can use on your forum to help set the rules of the forum
- More tutorials about how to get the most out of your forum and interviews with top forum admins
- A new RSS syndication widget to make it easier for your members to subscribe to content on your forum.

- FIXED: May 1, RSS feed byline doesn't point to original site
- FIXED: May 28, Creating a new poll doesn't work
- Jan 01, Stats on admin panel may not get updated with new changes to your forum
- Jan 10, Abandoned forums don't set next admin to founder
- Jan 22, widgetbox flash code has changed and new widgets may not work in lefora, we're working on a fix.
- Mar 31, the 'new' indicator may not always appear, or sometimes appears when there is no new posts, this seems to happen infrequently.
- Apr 27, Error when a non logged-in member clicks a link in a PM notification email (instead of login page)
- May 5, Error deleting categories with 0 topics. However, there is a temporary work-around for this. 1. Create a temporary topic in the category you would like to delete (you can name it 'Temp' and post 'temp' into the text. 2. Delete the Category from your admin panel. You'll be warned that you must moved any remaining topics. 3. Go to the category where the topic was moved and delete the Topic.
- May 15, Daily Digest emails (replies to your posts) are not going out
