Uploading pictures

Weird... works for me....

I was using FireFox. I switched to IE and can see the pictures.

There seems to be a lot of errors happening in the past hour or so, probably another update in progress. Clear the Browser cache and try again. Close the browser and reopen worked for me.

I'm thinking it's something to do with my FireFox in particular. I see random pictures and don't see most with FireFox. All the other problems others were having seem to be taken care of, but my problem is still here. I tried restarting it and refreshing it. No change.

Did you really clear the CACHE or just restart FF? Do you have any blocking add-ons installed? NoScript, Adblock etc. Some of these might be blocking pictures.

If you use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome (or any other browser) on the same PC, can you see the pictures ?

If you can then the Cookies for your forum might be corrupted. Try logging out, deleting the cookies for your forum, in fact for all of Lefora forums and then then logging back in again.

Okay... I cleared cache, restarted FireFox, Uninstalled FireFox, installed FireFox and still the same problem. It seems any pictures that are uploaded and downloaded are the ones I can't see. When I use IE, no problems.

Can you see the avatars?

I can see avatars. I can't see the images posted on anyones posts, unless they're copy and paste. Even when I change the image for my forum, everyone sees it, but me.

Whatever you posted isn't showing the way it should. I am on IE right now.

My other post was supposed to quote you, but didn't.

Since you can see the images in IE but not FF a couple things come to mind. First in Firefox: Preferences>Content tab, is "Load images Automatically" checked and are there any Exceptions. How about Java?

The other possibility is Firefox addons causing a problem.

Mattb4, I was on my forum and things were just fine. In a second, things changed. It's now happening with IE as well. I have changed nothing with FireFox or IE. Other members are starting to have problems too.

Notice where the name of the site is, there should be colored birds across the top and there is nothing showing. If I look at that with IE, they will all be there. This is the same for all other pictures being uploaded on the site.

I see the birds and they are Animated. (fairly clever that) I run Firefox and openSUSE 11. Here is a screenie below.

Breezy, I see the animated birds as well. I run FF on XP and Vista, seems OK on both. Nice animated Gif.

Thank you Hal9000 and Mattb4.  You'd be worried about what's going in place of those birds later today. lol

Anyway, I seem to have no problems with other sites and internet. I see all the pictures and can use FireFox to search and download anything. It's only on Lefora that FireFox won't let me see uploaded pictures. Any ideas?
