Where is the "Submit" button?
I would like to request that the Chief reconsider the nomenclature used on the button below the text editor. Many of my forum members and I believe it would be more user friendly if the button simply said "Submit". After all, I'm already in the "Start a New Topic" area, so isn't "Create a New Topic" really just the same thing? Take away the text that's the same ("a New Topic") and you're left with a label at the top that says "Start" and a label at the bottom that says "Create". Now I ask you, does "Create" really sound like or look like anything you've seen on the web before? When on Amazon.com, do you "Create" an order? When sending an email, do you "Create" it when you're ready to send it? To me and my users, the word "Create" is what you would expect to click on to enter a function to begin a task, not to COMPLETE the task. So, can you please choose a word that more closely resembles the fact that the user is COMPLETING the task of submitting a topic. So, please choose the word "Submit" instead.
Many thanks for your consideration.
Now, I must go and submit this form so that it will be posted to the forum.

Anyone else confused by 'Create' ?
Hrm, I've not been told of anyone on my board confused by it, and I hadn't even thought twice about it before reading this post, but I do kind of see the point. Just a simple "Submit Post" or "Submit Topic" would keep it consistent with the "Submit Reply" that exists for replies. But I'm not sure most people are going to be unable to start a new topic with the current wording.
There's only one buttonand no matter what it's called how can you get it wrong?
changed the copy to be 'Submit Topic' and 'Submit Poll' to keep everything clean and uniform.
