"back to top" button/link

I have gone through most of the topics here and searched for something similar to what I'm looking to do but came up with nothing.

If this has already been posted, could someone please point me in the right direction...

I am trying to put a link or button at the bottom of each of the pages that the user can click to go back to the top of the page. It really doesn't bother me to scroll but some of the members have complained about longer post and wanting to be able to skip right to the top of the page.

Can this be done or has it already been discussed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are two ways to do this that are very easy.

1. Hit the HOME KEY, takes you back to the page top
2. Click the PAGE NUMBER at the bottom of the page you're viewing, like here, click page 1 and it takes you back to the top.

To add a button would imply to add programming and that's not possible. Lefora ban javascript add ons and therefore cannot be done.

You could use a bookmarklet and I have written several for going up and down on pages amongst other things. See more here.

Thanks Hal. I will pass this info along and look further into the bookmarklets.
