I also can not delete category's  and group seperators. I have the same problem as the musicinformer.

please list your forum's address and the categories you would like to delete and we'll investigate.

Also, a side bug, if you're trying to delete 'empty' categories, sometimes that causes a problem.  You could create a temporary topic.  Delete the categories and choose to move the temporary topic into a new home.  After the category has been deleted, you can delete that temporary topic.  (sorry for the inconvenience on this, we're working on a fix)

These are the main headers I would like to delete all of these and the caegories within these headers. Do you need them indevidually?

How do I delete a category OR change a categorys name?

Go into Forum Admin > Settings > Categories

Click on the category name to either rename or delete it.

there is currently a bug when you're trying to delete categories with 0 topics, However, there is a temporary work-around for this.  

1. Create a temporary topic in the category you would like to delete (you can name it 'Temp' and post 'temp' into the text.  

2. Delete the Category from your admin panel.  You'll be warned that you must moved any remaining topics.  

3. Go to the category where the topic was moved and delete the Topic.

If this doesn't work, please rename any categories you would like removed as 'DELETE ME' and send me an email with a link to your forum and a link to this thread at 'chief -at- lefora.com'

Hi Chief,

I had problem with a category telling me that the Topics were -1. No one could access the category unless they clicked on the thread it's self.
I created a new category and move the posts. Now I could access the original catregory, but the new one. So I moved the thtread back and had the member repost to the new category.
I then deleted the origibal thread and went in to delete the corrupt category. But because it says that it has -2 Topics, it won't allow me to delete it.

In the meantime, can you try to move those negative posts into a category that already exists (that you don't need to delete) and try deleting the starting category?
