why does the forum look very basic when i log on

When i preview the forum whilst building it all the features are present. However, when i log on the look is totally minimal with no colors or design.

Does anyone know why this might be?

What are you previewing it with? If you are trying to change the css you must add changes to the Admin Panel CSS page and save. If you are using the upload Header area you must save after the upload. See Categories in HackYour.Lefora.com for further guidance.

Under 'Colors & Images' the preview may sometimes hide custom CSS changes you made. However, if you save it from this screen, then visit your forum, you will see the custom changes are there.
