A member can't change avatar

Okay... the member can now use IE to change avatars, but not Firefox. Would this be a computer problem?

I've just changed my avatar with Firefox.

In what way does FF not allow him to change avatar? No pop-up window? No images? It could be an add-on stopping these from being displayed.

This is what was posted for the problem. Since then, IE works, but not FireFox.

I click on "change you photo"
Okay.
I get the "options".
I click on "browse"...
It gives me my folder.
I find my pic, I click 'open'..
and .. it doesn't "load" - (you now how you get the
little "wheel" "loading" and eventually it vanishes and it's the bottom of the screen
"working, working working'...?) Well.. for me anyway, It's A LOOONG process.
NOW, BOTH Firefox and IE just pull up the "white menu thingy"  and it is STATIONARY...
blocking everything behind it.
TODAY, it just went to DONE- with the menu blocking my profile page.
Nothing happens after I click "Open" in my folder except that...
AND, nothing else in my computer's  "performance" is different.

Bit weird both being affected - both worked for me today (IE8 and FF 3.0.10)

Had to change the avatar, didn't you?! lol  Thought it was the wrong person with your name!!

I am thinking it has to be something with the member's computer since IE is now working for avatars again. According to the member, IE worked only after a system restore.

Java etc up to date?

I have this urge to tell you.. stop that! lmao!!  Back to the old avatar, I see.

I don't know about Java, but I guess everything was fine, until about a month ago. I will see if I can get any more information.
