Announcement in forum for Gamers
Well if you noticed most forums have the option to put up an announcement for their members to see as soon as they login to the forum.Some even have blinking announcement option. For lefora, this option is not available.
However i have found a way to make the announcement available lol .
Forum description.
It can be edited anytime you want and the positioning is perfect as the place to put in announcements. This works perfect especially for a gaming forum like mine. I need my members to be able to see important announcements immediately eg war dates KOS info and so on.
hehe .. well i can't think of any other place to put it but so far that's the best place.
You mean
"Description is flexible : you can tell new visitors about the purpose of your forum, or use it as a "message of the day" announcement"
- which is taken from the Forum Admin section where you actually type in the description? 
Another place to put in announcements is the sidebar with the Custom HTML widget - either as text, or with a flash widget, like the one Nicky uses at Lifehouse.Lefora.com .
