can not log on
been to the pub for our club meeting & as i fortold the problems are starting to come through there was less than an 8th of the members there 3 can not log on after trying god only knows how often they try, two got diferent screen views to the one i set they have green writing that they can not read, i set white on a black screen ?
but as admin i can not do owt about it they would have been things i could sort , they would have been able to have a say not now freedom of speach they have not go because they can not read & can not post, we will not go into the layout rubbish. roll on next friday when some more of them will let me know problems they are having, week after think i will go away to a rally to get pissed then the forum will run ok as i will not know, we need to be able to administer our forum for our members because it will only go down hill if they can not read or post,
A bit incoherent. Perhaps if you had a specific question it might be easier to provide advice. Since the Title is "can not log on", is this just certain members? You mention not being able to reset passwords for members. Perhaps they would be better to have their Browser remember their username and passwords if memory is too much problem for them. In Firefox if you select to "remember passwords for sites" in the Preferences> Security Tab, they can always go back to see what they (UN PW) are by selecting the Saved Password button and show password. I would imagine Internet Explorer has a similar function though not sure since I have not used it in years.
As for the Forum layout if others are not seeing the same thing that you are it is possible that your (or theirs) Cache needs to be flushed.
yep certain members, their browsers are set to remember password & user name, but that does not help if they can not get on they have done all the usual stuff to no avail, been there done that got the t shirt with other forums we had admin endid up sorting for them this time admin can not help & lefora's system for doing it is not aparently?
layout again its the few so far who have managed to get on that are seeing a different screen up to press the magority can see the same as me, again admin can not help as the facility is not there,

just been told some members who have been on & posted can not now post so whats the crack now ?
I had some members who couldn't use their accounts, once they made them. They gave up, deleted them and made new ones. Some people couldn't make accounts at all, but a month later, had no problem. I don't what causes it.
