Search All To Pot Again.

please link to any threads that should come up in a search result so we can investigate (that goes for anybody posting about search problems).

These are just a few,but every search comes back with the (500) error.

It is making the members fed up,not being able to find things again.

Can you not fix please?

I think i have come to the end of my tether with LEFORA now.We have had to put up with a lot of hiccups over our time with you,but i think this is the final straw.We have a lot of topics etc,so without a reliable search facility,how are our members supposed to find anything.This is not the first time this has happened.We are serioulsy considering leaving LEFORA now,and are looking for alternate hosting sites.
We are very grateful for LEFORA for getting our site up and running and established,but if the problem is not fixed fairly soon,we will have no other alternative but to look elsewhere.

How are you supposed to run an efficient site without any search available.

It seems search is throwing an error for everybody (Server 500) we'll get this fixed today, thank you for posting.

I am a member at horrorclassics.We thought the search was fixed.Now it is non existent now.All results come out as this  http://horrorclassics.lefora.com/forum/search/?q=abby

Can nobody sort this out,it is a pain.

we're updating our search server, we started yesterday, it may take a few days.  If after Monday, you are still having problems searching, please post here with a keyword you are searching and a post that should come up so we can investigate.

My search tab has gone!
I was getting the 500error then everythimg seemed fine. Now I don't even have the search tab.
I have tried switching themes, removeing any custom css but all to no avail.

Our search is still not working?It is getting to be a pain,can it not be fixed please.

It is very hit and miss,one minute the search seems to be working,the next time 500 or 404 errors.

we'll fix the 500 and 404 errors over the next hour.

I hate to be a pain but I still don't have a search tab
All other tabs are there,  i.e. Forum, Headlines etc, but no search tab.

I've noticed that if I make my forum public it has a search tab, and searching is done via google.

Does my forum need to be public in order to have a search function ?

Lefora recently decided to use Google Search while they are correcting their own Search function. Since Private Forums can not be crawled by Google, the Search function does not appear in them.

Search for my forum takes me to google... off of my forum. Also... it doesn't do a thorough search.
The topic I am looking for, Google doesn't list it and I know it's in my forum.
I am now going to try to search by myself, with no search feature.
