On occasion when clicking on a topic, either from the main window or from the 'Recent Posts' widget, I am taken to either the first page of the thread or more usually the second-last page if a new page was created recently.
Also, new posts are showing as 'Read' but need to be opened again to remove the 'New' marker.
It feels like the board is running slightly behind.... Been like this occasionally all day today.

problem persists when a new page is started in a thread. Clicking on the thread takes you to the last post on the second-last page. The 'new' marker also sometimes remains.
would you mind helping us debug to let us know if this happens on which occasions:
1. browsing from the forum category listing
2. clicking on the recent posts widget.
i'm more concerned about #1 if you can verify it's still happening in that situation.
This happens from both #1 and #2... but not all the time.
Being taken to the second last page can continue even after three or four posts on the latest page.
When the 'new' tag persists in the main forum page, it isn't visible against the thread when in the category page. When you click on the thread, you are taken to the first page - I haven't narrowed down yet whether you have to read the last or second-last page again to remove the 'new' tag.
You have to go back in and re-read the last page to remove the 'new' marker... (This was from the forum cat listing)
