The simple answer to your question is no. (Not a Lefora Admin) However if you have no experience with running a Forum I would recommend starting a Free one with Lefora and see how it works out. You can decide later to pay if you wish to run your own adds or no adds at all. All the Software needed to customize stuff is in your Admin Control Panel once you sign up for a Forum. Nothing to download required.
