On my takeforum.com import, I was accidently assigned as a Mod instead of an Admin

Hello again,

I just wanted to confirm, that me and the other former active full admin, get_mik, are both now moderators.  I can tell we are not admins because of our members pages.  It lists the founder as "admin" of the 3 forums, while it only lists us as "members" of each forum.  If we are unable to somehow obtain our admin, the community will be entirely lost.  We have no way to reach everyone or customize our board or do anything necessary to make our members continue to feel welcome and comfortable in the community we have worked so hard to maintain.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks jack, I thought of one more thing.  I'm not entirely sure how best to prove to you that the former admin is inactive, and me and get_mik are admins.  However I will start with information contained within our forum itself, and since there is no ability to edit the content of posts on Lefora, I hope it will validate our claims.  You may find a severe lack of our founder's in our forums, or you may also find the following posts helpful in various ways to validate or claims:

1.  I was made admin, by our founder (sim man) himself, as of March 2006.  The following thread is the thread he created announcing this to the community: http://simgirls.takeforum.com/2006/03/12/former-global-announcement-we-now-have-a-new-admin/page1/

2. In September of 2006 (about half a year later), I found myself strained when sim man had been absent for 4-5 months.  I was hesitant to take control of the project entirely without his direct approval, however since he suggested a 3rd admin, and I felt it best to have balanced support at the top of the forums for various reasons, I made get_mik our third admin.  Link: http://simgirls.takeforum.com/2006/10/24/former-global-announcement-3rd-admin/page1/

4.  Finally, all of the global announcements have been made by myself or get_mik.  Also,  you will notice that sim man's email is at the site 99megastore.com.  Please note that for some time now, the site has been "under reconstruction", as you can see by going to www.99megastore.com.

P.S:  Your forum kept giving me an error page every time I posted, and it kept telling me to try using the back button to resubmit.  It wasn't until I tried to post "I can't seem to reply" that it allowed me to post, and showed me that all my other posts are "hidden and marked as spam" ^_^. I apologize, you can delete them because they are the same as this post.

Yes, I can see your posts marked as spam - very strange....

it was probably because I posted so much in this thread... maybe :/.  However, you may want to link people to a different page if their post is marked as spam, I was sent to a 404 of sorts, leading me to believe that I should come back here, refresh, paste my comment, and post again.  Which did not update my page to show a "hidden" post marked as spam, so once again I apologize, and please delete them at your discretion.  Thanks again Jack! (^_^)

I can't delete them - leaving them will probably help in debugging anyway if posting leads to a 404...

I'm get_mik... this section wouldn't allow underscores...

Before there were issues with the site where it showed that anyone who had a special rank was given founder/admin status. This was several months ago. I also tried to send out a global email a couple of times (which finding how to get there is a pain within itself... I still don't know how to get there except from random clicking on different parts... oddly), but I kept on getting a 505 error and saying that the issue was going to be reviewed by the Lefora tech staff.

Never heard a response. :(

Well as you can see, we are confused about what is going on.  I hope someone can find the time to help us with our problem, let us know how we can go about rectifying it.

Hi cpatton, from your other thread, it seems the issue is that you are only a Moderator and not an Admin on the forum.  I see that you have emailed me and I will follow-up with you there.  Sorry for this mixup.
