I'm not sure this if this would be useful enough for everyone to make it worth implementing, but I'd like the ability to 'pin' the first post of a thread so that it appeared at the top of every page. I think this would be useful for keeping topics on track, and also for forum games....
What does everyone else think?
I think it's a good idea. 
I think it can also be used to give standing reminders for a certain thread and for many more purposes per what the admin and mod can think of since it appears on top of every page.
what are your thoughts of having all first posts repeated on subsequent pages? Maybe at the top, or maybe at the bottom near the posting editor? Do you think that would be too much?
We might not be able to make this change for a little while as it adds a few complications to the themes, but I wanted to hear your feedback.
Personally, making it optional to pin the first post to the top of each page would be enough. There are only 20 posts per page, so it's not too long to forget what the post was about 
I like that the thread title is above the post editor. Pinning the entire first post at the top of the page, maybe smaller than the original post so it doesn't take up a ton of space if it is really long or has photos would be nice. I talked to a few of my mods last night about it and they liked the idea as well. Having this as an option would be ideal though.
If you guys need a site to test this on I am more than willing to help out. If there is anything I can do let me know.
