Some of my older topics are missing

Hi t-cell, do you know if there are actually any categories that are missing?  There is a chance that the counts of topics on your forum are off after some recent changes we made around deleted topics and topics marked as spam that might be causing this.

If you know of a topic that's missing, please let us know.  If you think it might just be a counting error, we can look into resetting that.

There are no categories missing, just old topics from the 3 categories I mentioned above.  When I hit the page where there is suppose to be topics, it gives a 'category empty mssg.' for some reason even though .  You can see what I mean if you go to the links. 

I don't think it's a counting error either.  Example, category 1 above stopped at topic 220 (a topic posted 5 months ago), so topics 221 to 469 are missing (topics posted from 6-10 months ago). 

My forums is 10 months old already.

Actual topics missing. 

can you please post some information about the topics that are missing, such as the title, a url (if you have it saved), or possibly a cached copy on google.  We just need 2-3 examples to investigate.

Here's one url from a thread created on Oct., 2008: http://foreign-nurse.lefora.com/2008/10/26/us-economic-crisis-poses-a-threat-to-thousands-of-/page1/

The url is working but when I search it on my forum it's not there.   see: http://foreign-nurse.lefora.com/forum/category/general/page11/

The category where it is suppose be in fact only starts on Jan. 2009.  Anything older is not seen,

Also, was able to see a weird url when I was searching google for my old topics

I see all my stickies from diff. categories on that specific url and what seems to be some random topics from diff. categories as well.

UPDATE: hey t-cell, it seems that it is listed there on Page 17.  The confusion comes from the fact that only the first 11 pages are listed, but you can continue to hit the 'Older' link on the top right to head back further in history.

Actually, I've tried that several times before and hitting the 'older' doesn't do anything.  All of a sudden,  it does.  Well, that 'sort of' take care of 1 category but the other 2 categories mentioned still continue to have those problems.

Example: http://foreign-nurse.lefora.com/forum/category/blogosphere/page5/
In the above, everything stops at page 5 and 100 topics even though there was originally 7 pages and a total 130 topics and and hitting 'older' only points to this message:

This category is currently empty.

Why don't you start a conversation by clicking here or the 'start a conversation' button above.

Another example: http://foreign-nurse.lefora.com/forum/category/news/page2/
In this one, it stops at page 2 and hitting 'older' results in the same thing as the above example.  So, 1 page with about 4 topics in it is 'missing'.

Just double checked on this again.  Everything seems to be fine now.
