had to remove a member , as they could not remember their pasword , they re registerd under a diferent name, now they are removed from the members list in admin, but the old pic and name is still in the members list on the forum how do i get rid ?
when are we going to get more control over the forum & members , i remember when this was all a 2 min job,
heq quasar, if a member forgot their password, you should instruct them to just click the 'forgot password' link on the page where they try to login, that will save you and the member time.
You can remove the old member from your forum if you would like, but i recommend they just logout of their new username, try to login as the original username, then click the 'forgot password' link next to the login box. they can reset their password that way.
So in one sense, somebody might say there is less admin controls, but on the other hand, we removed things like 'forgot a password' from an admins todos and have our lefora system automatically handle forgotten passwords by emailing it to their original email address. This saves everybody time.

they tried that but guess what they dont have that email address now,,
thing is they are now gone from the admin list but not the forum page ?
